We’ll visit some of the places you’ve come to the Cotswolds to see, including Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters and Chipping Campden, while also leaving the main tourist trail to explore quieter villages, country lanes and the surrounding countryside.
I’m Simon, your guide. I live locally and come from a farming background, so along the way I’ll share the stories behind the villages, farms, landscape and people that make this part of England special.

Bourton-on-the-Water
One of the Cotswolds’ best-known villages, with the River Windrush flowing beneath its beautiful little stone bridges.
Upper Slaughter & Lower Slaughter
Explore two of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds, known for their peaceful lanes, honey-coloured stone cottages and idyllic riverside setting.
Chipping Campden
Discover one of the finest historic towns in the Cotswolds, with its beautiful High Street, Market Hall, church and fascinating history.
And Somewhere You Might Not Be Expecting...
Part of the day is deliberately left flexible.
Depending on the weather, traffic and what interests you, we might visit another historic market town, an ancient site, a tiny village, a countryside viewpoint or simply somewhere local that I think is particularly worth showing you that day.
We’ll also make time for at least one traditional Cotswold pub along the way.
The idea is simple: see the famous Cotswolds without spending the whole day following everyone else.

Much of what makes the Cotswolds special lies between the famous destinations.
Having lived and worked locally, including working on Cotswold farms, I’ll help you understand some of what you’re seeing as we travel through the landscape.
Because this is a private tour, I don't run the day like a coach tour with a stopwatch.
There is a carefully planned route, but enough flexibility to make the most of the day. If there is somewhere you particularly want to see, tell me and we'll adapt the itinerary where practical.

Travelling in a Mercedes V-Class means we can use quieter country roads, visit smaller places that larger tour vehicles simply can't reach and keep the experience relaxed and personal.

I'll drive you between each destination, drop you somewhere convenient and arrange a time and place to collect you again, leaving you free to explore at your own pace.
Visit places such as Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Burford and other Cotswold villages without worrying about driving, parking or navigating unfamiliar country roads.
This is a private driver service rather than a guided tour, so guests explore each destination independently.
