Yes.Private tours are particularly suitable for families because the day can be adjusted around your group.The shared Clarkson’s Farm filming locations tour is a full day designed primarily for adults and older children and usually includes an optional walk of around 1.5 miles.

It is a locally hosted, small-group day exploring locations connected with Clarkson’s Farm and the surrounding Cotswolds.With a maximum of seven guests, the day is much more relaxed and personal. It’s also a social tour — start the day as strangers, leave as friends.Along the way you’ll see the famous locations as well as countryside, villages, pubs and some places you probably won’t be expecting.

The tour includes locations such as Diddly Squat Farm Shop, The Farmer’s Dog, The Grand Tour Tent and Hawkstone Brewery, together with other filming locations and parts of the surrounding Cotswolds.There are usually a few less obvious stops along the way too.

Because part of the experience is discovering places as you go, and it’s important to protect some of the quieter locations from mass tourism — for locals like me, future guests and, frankly, because I’d like to keep a few secrets up my sleeve too!Some locations work better when they aren’t advertised.

We regularly bump into people you may recognise from the show during the day, although I can never guarantee exactly who will be around.That can include familiar faces such as Annie, the site manager at The Farmer’s Dog — who, as viewers will know, isn’t particularly keen on eating squirrel — Charlotte, the head butcher, and Thomasz, the chilli guy, as well as others connected with the programme.I would never promise that you’ll meet Jeremy, Kaleb, Gerald or anyone else in particular. What I can do is use my local knowledge to put you in the right places and give you the best chance of crossing paths with someone.If meeting Dilwyn the Vet is of interest to you, let me know. No. A reserved table at The Farmer’s Dog is not included in the tour.This is a social tour about exploring the filming locations and surrounding Cotswolds. It’s not a food or restaurant tour — culinary tours really aren’t my thing!There are food options available during the day, including food trucks at Diddly Squat, The Farmer’s Dog and Hawkstone Brewery. I also include at least one local pub as part of the experience.

The shared tour normally starts at 10:30 and lasts approximately seven hours.We usually return to Moreton-in-Marsh at around 17:30.

We normally finish at a local pub in or near Moreton-in-Marsh.The exact pub may vary depending on the route and what works best on the day.Transport back to Moreton-in-Marsh is included.

No. Staying longer is entirely optional.If you’d like to stay on for food and drinks, you’re very welcome to make an evening of it. Socialising over post-tour pints is a lot of fun and is encouraged.It’s a day built around good company as much as good locations.

Shared departures normally operate once a minimum of four guests has been reached, although I often choose to run with fewer.Solo travellers, couples and smaller groups are very welcome.If a departure does not reach the minimum number, I will contact you as early as possible and offer an alternative date, the option of a private tour for the additional cost, or a full refund if no suitable alternative can be agreed.

Both shared and private tours start from Moreton-in-Marsh Station unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

If you are travelling to Moreton-in-Marsh by train, a flexible return ticket is usually the safest option if you would like flexibility at the end of the day.Advance tickets are normally tied to a specific train, so I would avoid them.Please check train times and ticket restrictions with the rail operator before travelling.

There is plenty of parking available in Moreton-in-Marsh, most of it free.The station car park is chargeable at around £5 on weekdays and £3.90 at weekends.Please check the signs wherever you park, as some spaces and car parks are chargeable.
