Visit Diddly Squat Farm & Farm Shop Shop, The Farmer’s Dog, The Grand Tour Tent, Hawkstone Brewery and other locations connected with Clarkson’s Farm on a relaxed and fun day out in the Cotswolds.
Hosted by Simon, a Chipping Norton local with a farming background, the tour combines places you’ll recognise from the show with local stories, countryside and a few surprises along the way.
With a maximum of seven guests travelling in a comfortable Mercedes V-Class, there’s time for conversation, photos and enjoying the places we visit without feeling rushed.

Meeting point: Outside the ticket office at Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station.
Meet time: 10:20 for a 10:30 departure.
Duration: Approximately seven hours, including the return journey.
Return: Around 17:30 to Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station.

What to expect
We start at Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station before heading through Chipping Norton and into the countryside around Clarkson’s Farm.
Diddly Squat Farm Shop
You’ll have time to take photos and buy something to eat or drink. You can look in the shop, but I often recommend avoiding the queue because there are better options for buying Diddly Squat Farm Shop products without queuing that most people don’t know about.
We don’t offer queue-jumping or guarantee time to enter when it’s busy.
Filming locations & countryside walk
From there, we explore the local village and filming locations connected with Clarkson’s Farm, including a countryside walk and some stops that I deliberately don’t advertise.
A traditional village pub
We also call at a traditional village pub used by Jeremy and Gerald, with time for a drink before driving to The Farmer’s Dog through some beautiful Cotswold countryside that most visitors and locals miss.
The Farmer’s Dog & The Grand Tour Tent
At The Farmer’s Dog, around an hour and twenty minutes is usually enough to buy food and drinks, explore The Grand Tour Tent and go inside the pub for drinks and photos.
A reserved table or sit-down meal inside the pub is not included.
Through the Cotswolds
The afternoon continues through the Cotswolds, usually via Burford and Bourton-on-the-Water, depending on traffic.
Hawkstone Brewery & The Hawkstone Arms
We then visit Hawkstone Brewery’s Tap Yard, The Hawkstone Arms, where you can enjoy a drink before we return to Moreton-in-Marsh.
There may be time for an extra country pub stop along the way, depending on timings, how the day is going and what the group enjoys.
I don’t publish every location we visit. This helps protect the area for locals and future guests, and part of the fun is discovering these places on the day.

Good to Know
The day includes a countryside walk that may be muddy. Please wear suitable footwear and bring clothing for the weather.
The route and time spent at each stop may vary with traffic, queues, weather and venue availability.
We cannot promise meetings with Jeremy, Kaleb, Gerald or anyone else from the programme, but I’ll take you to locations where you’re most likely to bump into them.
Train tickets: If travelling by train, I strongly recommend a flexible return ticket rather than an Advance ticket, as tour timings can vary slightly.
